Great painting by Nico Vrielink. This painting I purchased in 2009 as Galerie de Werkplaats. For sale, purchase receipt and 2 books are included. Visiting is always possible. Reason for sale is a move, which means that I do not have a large wall where this painting is entitled.
Nico Vrielink was born in the Netherlands in 1958. Already at a young age he feels himself attracted to an artistic career. His parents write him at the Academy of Fine Arts in Arendonk and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Eindhoven.
With his artist's diploma, he leaves for the Far East, especially to Singapore where he meets Jeane. That encounter would mean a real turning point in his life. Jeane and Nico are inseparable after their encounter, and as a result, she walks through the work of the artist.
Nico Vrielink works according to the academic method, that is, from dark to bright. Besides his Jeane, another theme is very close to his heart: the Oriental mystique, a serene reproduction of silence and of the inner. Jeane is also constantly serenered and put on a canvas, and the decors are increasingly penetrated by mysticism.
The work of Nico Vrielink is sold and exhibited worldwide: Vienna, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Kortrijk, Las Vegas, New York, Singapore, Miami, Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Rotterdam, Jakarta, Ghent, San Francisco, Knokke, Berlin, Boston and impressive list still growing in regions. The work of Nico Vrielink is part of important museums, corporate and private collections and six books have now been published about the work and life of this particular artist.
